He said he's not like everybody else.
He connected to those who feel left behind.
He promised he will not leave them behind.
He vowed to break the system for the people.
He vowed to then fix the system for the people.
He said he will undo everything that was done before that screwed the people over.
He will do whatever it takes.
He does not care for tradition.
He does not care for institutions.
He does not care for decency.
He thinks he alone can solve the problems he is trying to solve.
He thinks love alone can solve the problems he is trying to solve.
He thinks highly of himself.
He believes he can get away with anything.
He believes he is above criticism.
He believes anybody who, even vaguely, goes against him should be dealt with swiftly.
He believes he in infallible.
The uncertainly mostly lies in whether the failures will come because of inexperience, because of inability; because other people will take advantage of the situation and make things irreversible; because the people around him will tear away everything many hold dear; because his unpredictability will bring them to a place they have never imagined they'll be in.
Some of us have wondered where the similarities lie. In a lot of places, we say, but we never thought much of it; we have our own problems.
And then we realize the enormity of our problems.
They say he does not know what to do once noon strikes.
We remember he's not inexperienced, he's not incapable.
He knows what he is doing.
